You are in a marginally successful covers band, a slight spoof cabaret act for about 10 years. Youtube comes around and a few of your videos get posted. Nothing big right? WRONG! Steve Moore (Aka, The Drummer at the Wrong Gig) is exactly that. Moore, the drummer for Rick K and the All-nighters, has become the latest viral SUPERSTAR. In the past week since Collegehumor posted a video entitled "Drummer at the wrong gig" it began getting posted all over Facebook, re-uploaded to youtube; shared on Digg.com. The video, a cover of ZZ Tops "Sharp Dressed Man" features Moore showing off some wildly uninhibited drumming abilities and tricks. As Steve himself says imagine what "…it would look like Tommy Lee or Keith Moon playing for Wayne Newton" well then the answer is this video. It's grandiose, humorous and sheerly entertaining, this latest viral deserves the respect of TEJ. Here it is, The Drummer at the Wrong Gig.
